What is the plate form of spiral plate heat exchanger? What is the form of gasket

The plate structure of spiral plate heat exchanger is as follows:
At present, the plate structure of spiral plate heat exchanger is mainly herringbone ripple in most cases. From this point of view, it is a typical reticular flow plate structure. Its characteristic is that the fluid channel formed between plates is staggered and full of contacts, and the fluid flows around these contacts to form a spiral forward track, At this time, there will be a strong disturbance.
If the design of the spiral plate heat exchanger on the plate increases the flow degree of the fluid, the thickness of the laminar bottom layer can be reduced when it is used in practice, and the convective heat transfer coefficient without phase change can be effectively improved. In this way, the purpose of increasing the heat transfer coefficient can be achieved.

The experimental results show that for the water medium, when the Reynolds number Re is 20-200 and the flow rate is 0.2-0.5m/s, the fluid will enter the turbulent state and has a high heat transfer coefficient. For this reason, even and staggered arrangement of contacts on the plate and appropriate reduction of spacing can not only greatly enhance the overall stiffness of the plate, but also bear large pressure difference.

Design of spiral plate heat exchanger equipment on sealing gasket:
The sealing gasket is an important part of the spiral plate heat exchanger equipment. When assembling, it is necessary to use the adhesive to stick the gasket firmly in the sealing groove of the plate, and in the groove around the hole, the gasket will be placed according to the needs of fluid flow, so as to allow or prevent the fluid from entering the channel between the plates and achieve the purpose of heat exchange.
The material, structure and compression ratio of sealing gasket are directly related to the sealing effect of spiral plate heat exchanger. At present, the commonly used gasket materials mainly include synthetic rubber and asbestos rubber. Synthetic rubber commonly used will include nitrile rubber, EPDM and fluororubber. The physical performance indexes of synthetic rubber gasket mainly include compression deformation and elongation at break under working conditions. The hardness index of rubber gasket should be determined according to the form of sealing groove and compression amount.
